Yet another great trip to Snowdonia staying at the Tyn-Lon hut. We had 15 people on the trip who each day scattered in different directions to enjoy the delight of North Wales. I’ll keep the write-up brief and let the pictures tell the story.
While the South-East was recording temperatures of -10 at night and below zero during the day, the weather was much warmer in North Wales, much to the disgust for those looking for ice, and to the relief of those doing other things.
John and Mandy went in search of some ice climbing and managed to find some high on Snowdon. Many of the others went for various walking objectives. Paul and Mark went on a 3 day mountain bike epic, which left mark’s bike with a bent wheel and making horrible grinding noises, or was that Mark’s joints!
Rob Foster masterminded a superb communal meal on the Saturday night and great time was had by all. Enjoy the photos below to get a taste of the action.
